Peptide Research Calculators: Free Tools for Reconstitution, Storage & Dosing Math

Sep 10, 2026

Accurate reconstitution, dosing math, and storage tracking are the foundation of reproducible peptide research. Our free online calculators handle the arithmetic so you can focus on the science. No spreadsheet required.

Why calculators matter in peptide research

Research peptides ship as lyophilized powder, measured in milligrams. Before any protocol can begin, you need to dissolve the powder in a precise volume of bacteriostatic water and then calculate the concentration per unit volume. Even a small arithmetic mistake at this stage will cascade through every measurement that follows, putting data integrity and reproducibility at risk.

Reconstitution is just the start. Researchers also need to track how long a reconstituted peptide has been stored, estimate remaining potency, and, in metabolic research contexts, account for the caloric and macronutrient variables that influence study outcomes. That is why 94 Supreme Peptides built a free suite of calculators: to eliminate manual errors from the research workflow.

Reconstitution calculator

The reconstitution calculator is the most-used tool in the suite. It answers the basic question every peptide researcher faces: “How much bacteriostatic water do I add, and what concentration does that give me?”

What it calculates

  • Concentration per mL, given the peptide mass (mg) in the vial and the volume (mL) of bacteriostatic water you plan to add.
  • Concentration per unit volume, expressed in mcg per 0.1 mL (one “IU” mark on a standard insulin syringe) for easy reference.
  • Volume per desired amount, showing how many mL or IU marks correspond to a target mcg amount.

When to use it

Every time you reconstitute a new vial. The calculator accepts any peptide mass (5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 30 mg, etc.) and any water volume. Bookmark the page and use it as a permanent lab reference.

Storage & potency calculator

The storage & potency calculator helps researchers estimate how peptide stability changes over time once a vial has been reconstituted. Reconstituted peptides degrade gradually. This tool models that decline so you can plan usage windows accordingly.

What it calculates

  • Estimated remaining potency as a percentage of the original concentration, based on the number of days since reconstitution.
  • Recommended use-by window, a conservative estimate of the timeframe within which the peptide retains ≥95% potency under proper refrigeration (2–8 °C).

When to use it

After reconstitution, especially when a vial will be used over multiple days or weeks. If you reconstituted a vial two weeks ago, this calculator tells you whether the remaining solution is still within an acceptable potency range for your protocol.

Macro calculator

The macro calculator estimates daily macronutrient targets (protein, carbohydrates, fat) based on body composition, activity level, and research goals. While not a peptide tool per se, it is relevant to metabolic and body-composition research where dietary variables are controlled.

What it calculates

  • Daily caloric target, adjusted for the subject’s maintenance, surplus, or deficit goal.
  • Macro split: grams of protein, carbohydrate, and fat per day, using evidence-based ratios.

BMR calculator

The BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) calculator estimates the number of calories a body burns at complete rest over 24 hours. It uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, which published research has identified as the most accurate predictive formula for estimating resting metabolic rate in both male and female populations.

What it calculates

  • BMR in kcal/day, based on age, sex, height, and weight inputs.
  • Context for metabolic research: a baseline from which activity multipliers and dietary interventions are layered.

TDEE calculator

The TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) calculator extends BMR by factoring in an activity multiplier. It provides a more realistic estimate of daily caloric needs, which is critical in any metabolic study that controls or monitors energy balance.

What it calculates

  • TDEE in kcal/day: BMR × an activity factor (sedentary through very active).
  • Maintenance calories, the theoretical intake at which body weight remains stable. This is useful as a reference point in research protocols.

Frequently asked questions

Are these calculators free to use?

Yes. Every calculator on 94 Supreme Peptides is completely free, with no registration or account required. They are designed as a resource for the Canadian peptide research community.

How accurate is the reconstitution calculator?

The reconstitution calculator performs straightforward concentration math (mass ÷ volume). Its accuracy depends on the precision of your inputs: the stated peptide mass on the vial and the volume of water measured. With accurate inputs, the output is exact.

Can I use the macro and BMR calculators for research purposes?

These calculators use published equations (Mifflin-St Jeor for BMR) that are standard in metabolic research. They provide estimates suitable for study design and dietary variable control. For clinical-grade calorimetry, indirect calorimetry remains the gold standard.

Do you store any data I enter?

No. All calculations are performed client-side in your browser. No input data is transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere. Your entries disappear when you close the page.

Which peptides work with the reconstitution calculator?

The calculator works with any lyophilized peptide, including BPC-157, semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide, ipamorelin, CJC-1295, and any other research peptide. Simply enter the vial’s peptide mass and your chosen water volume.
